Welcome to the Running Journal.
You put in the mileage. You eat the right food. But do you know how far
you ran last week, last month, or for the whole year? Would you like to
compare last year's training and performance with this year's? Would you like to
link heart rate information to current and past performance? Does your bathroom
scale show the payoff?
The Running Journal is for avid and recreational runners, bikers, swimmers,
and other endurance activities. You are welcome to
log as little or as much as you want. Recreational runners may only want
to track frequency of their runs. A competitive runner, seeking big performance
gains, may wish to track heart rate, time, distance, splits, and routes.
The menu above will give you single-click access to any part of the site.
Explore the following:
- My Calendar — quick access to your training, heart rate log,
and weight log.
- List Recent Training — see more details about the last 30 days
of training. Great for quick analysis.
- Search/Export Runs — filter your log by route, workout, date,
distance, or heart rate. Then choose to export your training to either
a comma separated values file or an Excel spreadsheet.
- Workout Templates — set up workout templates with split/repeat
details — a real timesaver. Share them with other team members.
- Routes — keep track of your favorite running and biking routes
for quick logging and analysis. Share them with other team members.
- Shoe & Bike Tracking — let the Running Journal notify you when your
shoes or bikes need to be retired.
- Charts and Graphs — graphically combine
your weight log, heart rate log, training, and racing data into
easy to build charts. See how you can chart your PRs, too!
- Teams — create a team and share your journal, calendar,
summaries, routes, workouts, and charts with training partners and teammates.
